The monitoring of bridges to alert accidents using rasberry PI

Abstract

In recent years, bridge collapse tragedy becomes a serious problem in India as it leads to loss of life and property damage The bridge monitoring system is developed to monitor the bridges 24X7 by considering the elements such as overflow of water, earthquake (Haritos and Qwen 2024), scour depth, and bridge collapse. If any accident occurs on the bridge, the monitoring system closes the bridge and an alert message is sent to the user of the bridge until the problem is fixed. The system is fully automatic and implemented by using Raspberry Pi and electronic sensors.
