Abstract

This literature review examines framing theory, a critical framework for understanding how media shapes public perception and discourse. The article synthesizes key studies that illustrate the mechanisms of framing and its implications for political communication and social movements. The author discusses the evolution of framing theory and its relevance in contemporary media landscapes, particularly in the context of digital communication. The review concludes with suggestions for future research directions to further explore the complexities of framing in various contexts.
