Abstract

This article investigates the intersection of politics, sustainability, and development. It critiques dominant narratives surrounding sustainable development and emphasizes the need for inclusive approaches that consider local contexts and power dynamics. The author draws on case studies from various regions to illustrate the complexities of implementing sustainable practices. The findings highlight the importance of participatory governance and community engagement in achieving sustainable development goals. The article calls for a rethinking of policies to prioritize equity and justice in sustainability efforts.
