Abstract

  • This study presents problems related to the conservation status of the order Pseudoscorpiones in Brazil. For this, raw data from the “Red Book of the Brazilian Fauna Endangered with Extinction” were used, where the species in the group were classified. Through the exploration and analysis of this material, it was found that 10 species of pseudoscorpions are included and distributed in the categories Critically Endangered (CN), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU) and Insufficient Data (DD) of the International Union for Nature Conservation (IUCN). In view of the analyzes and carried out, the study developed here presents itself as a kick-off for the development and execution of research involving the ecology and conservation of pseudoscorpions in Brazil and in the world.
